Our Story
We are a small homemade popcorn company that creates classic and unique flavors that are bold and delicious! It all started with our signature flavor, kettle corn, and a passion to put a smile on the faces of everyone who enters our store or tastes our popcorn.
Why the name Cranky Mike’s?
It took months to come up with the perfect name for the business. I carried around a notebook in case a stroke of genius hit me. I kept coming back to the Kettle Corn popper, but nothing was sticking. One day, while at lunch with a friend, they said, “What about Cranky Mike’s?” Of course! The popper has a crank and the guy running the machine does not have a reputation for having a sunny disposition. And thus Cranky Mike’s was named.
